The whole process of hair loss in men is made apparent by common pattern that it follows: a receding hairline forming an “M” or a horseshoe shape, and a bald spot at the crown area of the head. Eventually, both the receding hairline and the bald spot meet, creating a bigger area of visible scalp. Male-pattern hair loss starts at the onset of puberty and becomes more apparent upon reaching the age of 30 to 40.
